In fact, is it possible to implement a taxi camera on the smartphone version?
The developers have said that this is unfortunately not possible for the mobile version at the moment.

Most devices do not support it and having this on just a few devices is more confusing than not having at all on mobile.
So currently this is a feature exclusively available for the desktop version, i.e. Aerofly FS 4.
