Thrustmaster Airbus Edition with Quadrant TCA

  • I recently bought the Thrustmaster Edition, Joystick and the Quadrant TCA.

With the Joystick alone the Flaps setting work well. :)

When I now connect the Quadrant (USB), the Flaps can't be moved anymore at any plane. :(

Has anyone an idea where to look for this problem?

Per default the flap lever on the quadrant is assigned to the flaps. The lever overrides any other flap inputs that you may have assigned. So if you are using buttons on your joystick the lever instantly overrides it again.

If the flap lever doesn't work as well, then try resetting the controller assignments to their default state.

There is a button in the top right of the controller menu that allows you to do that.

  • Thank you for the inputs.

Captain Aron: no, the mouse does not work either.

I think Jet-Pack has the right answer. But the problem is that I use only the Joystick and the quadrant for the engine speed contol and not the

additional neccessary quadrant for the lever/flab control.

At the time this additional lever control is in my region not jet available.

May be Jet-Pack has an idea to overcome the problem until I can buy flap lever quadrant.

    regards

    JP

  • As far as I know, the joystick as well as the quadrants and the addons of the Thrustmaster Airbus Edition only work with a PC or Mac - and on my Mac without any problems. :)

  • Jet-Packs suggestion was right. I deleted the assigned controls in the middle area and selected a new switch - the flaps worked now.

I use the simulator aerofly FS2 on a Win 10 PC and the Switzerland add, just great landscape!
