Custom models not visible to RC10 on Mac

  • I downloaded some free models from jaria-simulator.com/aerofly , placed each in a named folder at /Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/aerofly RC 10/aircraft, but RC10 will not show these user models.

This is what the 3rd party folder looks like now:
    /Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/aerofly RC 10/aircraft/
    /Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/aerofly RC 10/aircraft/baron/
    /Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/aerofly RC 10/aircraft/stuka/

Can confirm that RC10 standard models that were edited do appear in /Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/aerofly RC 10/aircraft_mod

What am I missing? Why won't the application recognise custom models?

  • you have tested this path ?
    /Users/user name/Library/Containers/com.aerofly.aerofly-rc-x/Data/Library/Application Support/aerofly RC x/aircraft

  • you have tested this path ?
    /User/user name/Library/Containers/com.aerofly.aerofly-rc-x/Data/Library/Application Support/aerofly RC x/aircraft

My mac does not have the /Users/#####/Library/Containers/com.aerofly.aerofly-rc-x folder

My installation is a Steam one, and I have also tested this folder:

    /Users/xxx/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/aerofly RC 10/aircraft

    without any success.

    EDIT:
Resolved. The issue was that I missed the detail that the models I downloaded were for RC9 or earlier. There was only one model for RC10 that worked: Carte.

    This IS the correct folder:
    /Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/aerofly RC 10/aircraft/
