I have built the basic model of the plane, but the materials and textures are not finished, and the animation and skeleton are not finished, please tell me what I should do next, attached is my Blender project file (The texture was only for the cockpit, and I didn't do the exterior painting ,The size of the texture is too large to upload, please understand):(

Great to see a new aircraft project!

Can you show us a few screenshots of the current model of your 767?

Animations and skeleton rigging won't be needed for an Aerofly FS aircraft. Instead of using animations that are pre-rigged we simulate physics in the sim in real time.

You'll need a basic texture though at least, otherwise nothing will be visible in the sim. It can be a blank texture but textures have to be assigned to all objects that you want to see in the sim.

I'd recommend converting our example aircraft from the SDK first. Then you can convert your own aircraft next and try to get anything to show up in the sim in the correct size. From that point forward you can copy an existing aircraft like the 737 or 777 and basically replace their objects with yours, removing anything that your real world Boeing 767 doesn't have and adding what isn't in the aircraft that you copied.

There are also helpful pages in our wiki, even though they describe the development process for Aerofly FS 2 most of it is still relevant for Aerofly FS 4.

I have understood the basic process of AF building a new aircraft, but I still don't know how to convert TGI TMC TMD WAV files properly, and I don't see WAV TGI files in the default 777_300er folder, but TSB TTX and other files. The official tutorial only explains the steps of building the plane, but I still want someone to tell me how to convert the file in detail and display it correctly in the game, because when I converted the official dr400 it did not display correctly in the game;(

If I convert my airplane model to a TGI file alone and it doesn't appear properly in the game, are there any additional steps required?

Please check if the converter shows any errors in the converter tm.log file and if it writes files into your user documents Aerofly FS 4 aircraft directory.

If not please check that you have set the paths correctly in the config file in your intermediate folder. Your aircraft will need a basic TMD and TMC file and a tgi file all with the same file name as the folder they are inside. So for you probably just "b767".

It's important to get this working with the dr400 on your machine first as described in the wiki and in the SDK download pages on our homepage. When that is working you can try your own aircraft.

Yes, in the dr400 demo you gave me, I did convert and have the basic TMG,TMC and TGI files, but how do I get it to show up in the game?

The screenshot you have shown is the intermediate folder. You now have to use the Aerofly FS Aircraft Converter to convert all these files to a format that the Aerofly simulator can load.

A small recommendation: In the Windows Explorer settings you can turn on the option to always show file extensions. This will make it much easier to distinguish between textures, text files and model files (TGI) that all have the same name but different file extensions.

Could you explain in detail how to convert these files from Aerofly FS Aircraft Converter? After I opened it, there was only the installation program, but no conversion words appeared

The process is described in the wiki and on the aerofly.com homepage. You first need to install the converter, that is correct. Then you can right click the intermediate folder and select the Aerofly FS Aircraft Converter from the Windows explorer context menu.

Please check if you can find the files in the output directory as shown on the screenshot that you uploaded. Is there a dr400 folder?

Ok and is the DR400 not in the sim? It might be at the very end of the list or aircraft, not sorted alphabetically.

Sorry, I misread the path of the folder I entered, I thought it was in the download folder, but it is actually in the document folder, the plane is currently functioning, so what if I want to convert my own plane?

Parallel to the dr400 folder add a new folder called b767 where you save all the raw files that the converter needs. Those are the BMP/PNG/TIF textures, the TGI file as well as a TMD and TMC file.

The model preparation process is described in the wiki:

He seems to get stuck while I'm converting (I drag b767 files into dr400 and create a new folder called b767, I want to convert them)

Yes, you need to rename the files to be the same as the folder name. The converter should at least write your texture files (TTX) and convert the model file (TMB) in your output directory. It might crash when rendering the preview, that is ok for now. The airplane should then be visible in the aircraft menu but Aerofly FS will either load the C172 instead or show a red stop sign when you attempt to load the plane.

But if you already see the aircraft in the sim, next to the dr400, even if the preview is not there, that's the first step.

You should then open the TMC file in your intermediate folder and edit the name of the plane and the description texts and parameters. After saving the file run the converter again which copies the file into the output folder automatically. Later on you can also edit the TMD and TMC files in the output folder and after you are finished with them you can copy them back into the intermediate folder.

Now I only have the cockpit map, I haven't made the exterior paint, so now I just need to convert the model and the cockpit map
