Aerofly on Mac?

  • Hi,

I have a MacBook Pro (most recent) and I was wondering how good Aerofly runs on Mac.

Additionally I wanted to know if you think it’s better on the Mac or iPad . I’ve been using the mobile version on my iPad for a year now.

Eventually, I want to invest in the Airbus thrust master & joystick to start using Aerofly on Mac instead of the iPad mobile version.

    Thanks for your help !

  • I've had Aerofly on both my phone and Mac for a couple of years now.

I enjoy it more on my Mac especially with a joy stick and thrust master which I got recently.

Will be even better once the new update comes around for the A350 to be on Mac through appstore.

  • I can comment using my MacStudio with M2 Ultra, 32GB of RAM.

It runs super smooth, fixed at 60fps, all graphical settings maxed out.

I would be interested to know too from other users about the Airbus joysticks and other controllers.

At the moment I'm using an XBox controller.

  • I use FS 4 on my MacBookPro with a lot of fun to my complete satisfaction. I have also tried some controllers and all of them basically worked plu&play, but sometimes it makes sense to readjust something.

    EDIT:

There are also some posts about FS 4 and Mac here in the forum.

For sake of completeness would you be so kind to list the controllers you used that were plug & play? It would be useful for other users that search for the name of the controller in the forum.

  • The controllers are listed in my signature. In my opinion, however, it is always advisable to use the search function in the forum, because in the course of time one or the other knowledge has come together.:)
