Hello FS team
You have recently cleaned up the code in version FS4, including changing the names of some functions. But there is no SDK for it.
Since I am developing my own software that uses the API from FS2 in FS4, I kindly ask for confirmation that the tools released for FS2, as well as the license, are still valid for FS4.
The software I am developing retrieves speed, altitude, and other data necessary for recording aerobatic flights of aircraft.

We've updated the external DLL project to work with Aerofly FS 4:

So, licence agreement is the same, yes?

Hi Wilkomir , with your software, can you replay a complete flight inside AFS4 or you just record it?
-
The main task is to record the flight. However, I’m thinking about connecting a joystick with a force feedback system in the future. For now, I’m collecting a lot of data — from speed to reading the angle of inclination, and so on.
That's why I'm asking about the license — because I don't want to break the law, and right now I'm in a gray area. It's kind of okay, but the SDK wasn't released for FS4, so I'm not sure.
In case I want to sell the software, then what? What if a client shows up who wants to pay me for the solution? Am I supposed to tell them it has to be open source? -
The main goal of Aero Flight Record is to capture information about the aircraft's position, speed, and external conditions, and to recreate the flight in 3D with a model. I don't send any data to FS4, but I do collect a large amount of data in order to accurately reproduce the flight.

So... what about SDK for FS4?
