I already updated my aerofly RC 10 to Expansion Pack 1 on my Mac some months ago. Now I wanted to urgrade to Expansion Pack 2 but I do not find the option in aerofly anymore. In the extensions section (Erweiterungen), I see the already installed Expansion Pack 1 but no option to add Expansion Pack 2.

Any hints for this issue?

I am using Aerofly RC10 from STEAM on MacOS, with both DLC installed.

My issue is, that I cannot enable F3A grid from anywhere. The only grid I can see is like a cylinder (set virtual grid on), which is not good for F3A practice.

I tried different sceneries, including 4D sceneries, and different planes. But still cannot find it.

I see there is F3A grid from the manual, can anybody tell me the details about how to use it.

RC10 version 10.01.05.09 (20241028) running on Windows 10, does not register stick movement, potentiometer changes, or switch changes, so it is impossible to get through the setup phase of RC10 successfully. Windows recognizes the device, as does RC10, but when presented with the screen that asks for all controls of the Interlink-X to be moved (or switches and potentiometers to be changed), it fails to recognize any changes.

The device works properly with the RealFlight 8 simulator.

I originally bought Aerofly 7 from the App Store on a Mac Mini (Intel), then later ran it on an Apple Silicon M1 Mac Mini with no problems. I hadn't used it in a while, although I had installed it on my current Mac Studio. Everything else seems to work, just no sound.

Jeti ds-24 supports neither trimming nor model programming when using aerofly. It appears Jeti sends to aerofly only raw stick, slider and switch positions.

With Hawk jet, I found that half throttle, level flight elevator trim can be accomplished by adjusting Servo Left/Right Elevator Min, Max, and Offset as well as CG configuration values.

It is possible to configure several different elevator trims in aerofly?

For example, I would like to try a second, slower speed elevator trim appropriate for a no wind, no turbulence landing approach. Einiges konnte ich bereits u.A. dank der mittlerweile vorhandenen (RC10) Tutorials herausfinden (die scheinbar noch nirgends offiziell announced wurden - sind diese immer noch work in progress?), diese beschränken sich aber fast auschließlich auf Konvertierung alter Szenarien bzw auf das Erstellen von Panorama-Szenarien.

Was ich schon herausfinden konnte:

  • Wie man eigene Geometrie über das .tgi Blender Addon exportiert, Diffuse Maps zuweist und mit dem RC10 Converter in .tmb konvertiert und in einer 4D Szene anläd
  • Wie man eigene .ttx Texturen mit dem RC10 Converter erstellt
  • Definieren des Objekts als static3d oder decal in der .tsc Datei der Szenerie, letzteres ist z.B. hilfreich wenn man nicht die Spawnpunkthöhe durch eigene Geometrie beeinflussen möchte

First of all, you need to associate an image_light.bmp file with the image_color.bmp file used for projector mapping.
Black image (RGB(0,0,0) with the mapped areas of the projectors in white.

I installed aerofly RC 10 and wanted to run it on VR. Just recently purchased an Acer Nitro 16 with good specs to this purpose (VR gaming with RC models).

Machine spec (laptop)

-AMD Ryzen 7.

-Nvidia RTX 4060.

-16GB ram

-Windows 11.

So this is well within all system requirements (both aerofly RC 10 and oculus). Original high quality Oculus Link cable.


When I play the simulator the plane glitches graphically, like if it twitches… It’s just enough to make the gameplay a rather poor experience. When I enter the airfield on the sim everything looks very good. Tracking is nice, no lagging, everything is fine until you start moving the aircraft. It’s almost like this occurs more frequently the faster the plane moves. So like slow taxiing doesn’t do much of this.

First I ensured that (in windows app graphic preferences) the game, oculus app and steam vr app uses the dedicated NVidia RTX 4060 card, instead of the slower internal AMD graphics card.
