Switzerland scenery after update

I’ve noticed that some parts of Switzerland have been substituted by the darker scenery of the rest of Europe, rather than the bright green that it used to be. Was this intentional?

Will something be done for other major airports scenery wise?

I know that obviously the developers can’t have buildings and all this other fancy stuff for every airport, but for some major airports there is little to no scenery at all. For example, at Atlanta Jackson Airport there is the auto-generated buildings, but no runway markings and the scenery around the airport is terrible. Atlanta has previously been the busiest airport in the world, and barely has anything going for it in Aerofly.

Something that is talked about too little

Yes, an ATC-System, a fuel and weight system, ground services, metar and multiplayer are the most popular and most important requests.

Nevertheless, I feel like, there’s something that is talked about too little and that is special effects. A game feels alive when there are these effects.

Here, I’ll list some that are quite important:

1. Smoke after touch down. This is the sign that your plane has made contact with the ground. It would make watching the landings in replay mode much more enjoyable.

2. The heat behind the engines that makes the air look blurry.

3. Vortices. The clouds that build up over the wings. Beautiful to witness in person.

4. Breaking the speed of sound. It would make flying fighter jets way more exciting (even tho you wouldn’t even notice it as a pilot).

There’s probably much more that you can come up with:)

Request to Reconsider Google Play Certification Requirement for Aerofly FS Global

I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent restriction that prevents users with uncertified devices from downloading Aerofly FS Global through the Google Play Store.

Previously, it was possible to install and enjoy the game on a wider range of Android devices, even those without Google Play certification. However, it seems that a recent update has introduced a limitation that blocks access for such users, which was not the case before.

I kindly request that you reconsider this restriction. Many loyal users, including myself, use powerful devices that are fully capable of running the game smoothly, yet we are now locked out due to this certification requirement. This change excludes a portion of your player base who were previously able to access the game without issues.

Small detail missing

Just noticed that in the 737 (-500, -800 and 900ER) and 747-400, the landing gear lever can’t be set to the OFF position after retraction. It’s a small detail, but it adds to the immersion and realism—especially for those familiar with Boeing procedures. Would be a nice touch in a future update.

Disagreement between V/DEV indicator and VSD and general VNAV behaviour

On both Airbus and Boeing, the yoyo/V/DEV indicator profile is always lower than that of the VSD. This results in confusion and the VSD being made slightly redundant.

Another behaviour that I have noticed is that prior to the nose pitching up to lose airspeed, eg 250/10000, the plane goes a few thousand feet below the profile, or rather the profile suddenly jumps up a few thousand feet, so I guess the plane can re-intercept it. However, in real life, these level-offs are accommodated by the VNAV profile itself, so the plane can slow down while staying exactly on profile.

I am also curious about how you have programmed the VNAV to calculate its path. In real life on Airbus and most Boeings, the plane will descend in idle thrust to the first restriction, and thereafter maintain a so-called ‘geometric path descent,’ meaning that it will aim for a continuous descent between any two constraints, without levelling off. ADF tuning with active coopilot

I noticed that you can tune the ADF even with coopilot turned on. Couldn't it be solved so that this works with VOR stations as well? The video also shows that you have to zoom in on the instrument panel a lot if you want to press something on it. In this case, you can't see much of the surroundings...

A350 speed on approach

Something that I’ve noticed about the A350 on approach is that the VLS in clean configuration is too high. The top of the amber strip on the speed tape is above the S-speed, which shouldn’t be possible since the S-speed is the minimum speed in clean configuration; in clean configuration the VLS should be equal to this speed.

This means that there is a high risk of A.FLOOR triggering if the plane is slightly below green dot speed with no flaps extended.

I don’t know why Helgoland isn’t ingame. It probably is one of the most challenging general aviation airports in Europe. It offers two short runways and it’s known for its strong winds and changing weather. It’s all very scenic so I’d love to see a handmade scenery and airport. Oh, and don’t forget about the Lufthansa 737 that did a touch and go there for absolutely no reason
