Hello,

First of all, thank you for your excellent simulator on Nintendo Switch! It is an incredible experience to be able to fly on this platform.

I would like to propose an improvement to make the experience even more immersive: allow players to manipulate the cockpit buttons directly with the Joy-Cons or a controller, without having to use only the touch screen.

Here are some ideas for this:

1. A cursor controlled by the joystick to navigate inside the cockpit. We could imagine putting a cross in the middle of the screen and when it is on a special button and we press A (For example) the button is executed

2. An option to disable/enable this feature in the settings, in order to adapt to all styles of play.

This would improve immersion, especially when playing on a TV screen, because touch becomes less practical in this case.

Thank you for taking this suggestion into account, and congratulations again for this game which brings a realistic and fun experience to Switch!

Kind regards,

…

Hello!

I've been out of the loop for a while, pleasantly surprised to see the A319, runs perfectly in VR. I was able to modify some sounds on the A320 years ago in FS2, I'd like to do the same for FS4 with the A319 (For some reason the sound designers leave out the ground roll sound) Feels very strange landing and not hearing the rumble from the gear etc, a bit of an anti climax with large speakers

What I'd like to do is increase the ground roll sound (if there actualy is one?) Like in MS2020/24 taxiing at 20knots gives a low rumble, by rotate speed the sound is quite loud until airborne.

From memory the TMD files need adjusting? Any assistance, or I'm willing to pay if some smart person is able to adjust the files for me. All other sounds are great.

Also, is there a way to force the CFM model to use the IAE sounds, for some reason the CFM does not sound realistic, they nailed it with IAE

Thanks

Below is what I see in the a319.TMD file

<[soundinput][HydraulicPTUBarkSound][]
…

The actual variometer in the Cessna cab shows this speed with a very noticeable delay in time.

Aerofly has a static pressure channel and a vertical velocity channel, which receives changes from the first channel. How do you slow this down in a tmd file by analogy with the speed difference between OilTemperatureInput and EngineOilTemperature, where Speed = 0.5?
F104G Starfighter

Hi Guys

Just a few shots to let you all know I am still working on the starfighter. Not got around to specular and bump mapping yet so forgive some of the shine and weird colors. Need to get all the modelling out of the way then I can concentrate on better texturing. Glass is proving to be a problem.

Cockpit is starting to fill up, all switches and gauges from the F104G Fighter bomber, German version are modelled but still lots of work required, strange to sit in a model I have built in VR. Plan to add a Garmin type map in the centre console to replace the Radar of the real aircraft. How all that works is beyond me at the moment but we'll get there.

At least it's in the sim and flies, not too well but it flies, roll rate is very FAST (thanks to Jan for his efforts)

Had I known how much effort goes into one of these aircraft I would have taken up golf.

Steve

Hi

I know others have asked before, but could we please have a paint-kit for the A320. I would really like to have an Aer Lingus livery (the old Green top version) for it and I'd be willing to have a go if a PSD paint-kit was available

Matt

XREF library objects that don't show off

Dear IPACS team,

The XREF library is pretty cool and quite straight forward to use, at least for 3DSMax users (I think we should imagine a dummy we place without 3D modelling tool, for instance via MCX, but that's another topic).

I could easily populate my test bed AD with several of your object. Some of them however won't display in AFS2, despite placed in the same object group as other objects from the same library that properly show up on my AD.

I haven't tested them all, but at least the following items form the xref_usa_airport library don't show up in my AD:

- suv_big_01_virtual

- suv_big_02_virtual

- TankTruck_virtual

- TankTruckTrailer_virtual

Other items form the same library work properly, so it's not just the complete library.

I double-checked the object name spelling (copy-paste from the library).

Thanks in advance for having a look at it.

Cheers

Antoine
